    Firewall in 3 operation modes
      Online Armor at first starts in the standard mode, which is easy to handle for every user. It is not about technical intricacies, but simply about the question is a certain program allowed to access the Internet or not A white list collects programs where the software ensures that they are secure. In this case the firewall automatically permits the access. In the expert mode there are much more options for experienced users. For example, it is possible to permit the access in a few certain networks only and to prevent websites from specific countries being well known for spreading malicious software from loading. The third mode is the banking mode which stands for secure online banking.
    Keylogger protection
      Keylogger are a sort of malware waiting for key strokes invisibly in the background. ZoneAlarm security software works with most types of TCP/IP connections including Ethernet LAN, wireless LAN, DSL, cable modem, and dialup connections. The ideal resolution for ZoneAlarm security software is 1024 x 768 or higher. Some software screens might not display properly at resolutions of 800 x 600 or lower.

It is ZoneAlarm's policy to extend protection to customers of all Microsoft Windows operating systems as long as the following conditions apply

The operating system itself is still supported by its creating company Microsoft with automatic and proactive security updates to protect customers against the latest security vulnerabilities.
The operating system can technically support the ZoneAlarm software without negatively effecting the users security.
When these above criteria are not met, we will, at the sole discretion of Check Point Software Technologies, discontinue support of the operating system. We will make every attempt to give prior notice to customers before discontinuing support for an operating system.

All currently shipping ZoneAlarm products will run without limitation on the Windows XP operating system.

Please note As of this writing, Windows 7 has not been officially released by Microsoft. Thus, ZoneAlarm is Windows 7 Ready compatible with Windows 7 when it is released. Once Windows 7 is officially released by Microsoft, customers with valid ZoneAlarm subscriptions will receive a free compatibility update.   For those who wish to run ZoneAlarm on prereleased versions of Windows 7, note that the Antivirus and Hard Drive Encryption components of ZoneAlarm are not officially supported.
 
Windows Vista
